Frozen Fugitive

Amidst the rain.. amidst the wind..
and the perspective going dim,

Not enough is the sunset, or the morning..
to induce in me a sense of longing.. .

If I were to choose I would choose it otherwise,
but hey! am I anything close to being wise?

Appreciated is the beauty seen through the eyes,
but things seen are nothing but lies!!!

My soul calls for a phase reversion,
so will I adapt, bring about this mutation!!

Call me eccentric or maybe insensitive!
Here's my confession - Frozen Fugitive!!

Psychosomatic!

And as by magic before I knew it, the pain subsided. I had not realized that an hour had elapsed before I finally reached consciousness, but it was a lucky escape, considering the alternative.

It's strange how our mind reacts to stimuli. I marvel at how we always find time for the things we like and almost never for the things we don't. "Duh!", you might tell me, but consider this: The things one doesn't want to do are avoided till the very last moment until they simply become unavoidable, now when the time has come to go through that painful procedure of accomplishing the task, our sub conscious/ psyche/ intuition call it what you may, comes into action and postpones the task. How? Let's take an example. There's a meeting that you don't want to attend, it's utterly important, yet somehow you know all's not going to be well for you. So when you finally force yourself to attend it, you have a terrible headache. "Common! Take a pill and get going", you tell yourself. You get out of that door only to find that you've missed all the important papers inside. "Curses be on this day!". Now with the papers in hand, you advance to your destination only to be interrupted by... a car! A car? Yes, you've had an accident. Meeting is canceled.
This is the power of mind. It's no coincidence that the things we don't want to do are the ones in which we face maximum problems (some of them beyond our control, as it so seems). Like, it's no joke that "desire" is the root of all accomplishments. And, it's scientifically proven.

Wisdom says,
"Awareness of the illness is the first step to cure".
So turning the tide to a more favourable side, I told myself or rather shouted at myself, "Hey! It's psychosomatic! Now take hold of your psyche, will you?" And as by magic before I knew it...

Let's not think of the "alternative" anymore. Adieu.

Taste of Thunder.

"Thumbs up! Taste The Thunder" I recalled after taking a huge sip of the soft drink.(Soft? Yeah, comparatively.)

As I felt the gas in my mouth and throat, I wondered what draws people close to the harder versions of the 'thunder'. Reasons are plenty! Perhaps, it's "In", perhaps it takes you "high", or as our very own Devdas puts it "Kaun kambakhat bardaash karne ko peeta hai?" (Who drinks to endure?). Yeah right. Surely Mr Devdas is a fan of the age old phrase "Loha lohe ko kaatta hai" (Iron cuts Iron). And so, pain will be cut be draining cumbustible ethyl alcohol down ones throat? Not quite. Yet, it's so irresistable. The sensation, weightlessness - it takes you to a different world all together, a world that is higher and higher without any limitations. There you are amongst the stars and floating on the clouds at the same time... Only to fall flat on your face when hit upon by reality! Oh, how does your head feel now? Ecstatic?

Alas, few seem to be able to contain themselves when they first step into this bog.

The Very Begining

Where should I start from?

Whenever we start a new venture, an event, a job, or just another page in our book of life, for a moment we are in a void state of mind. Perhaps, it's because we want to do things right, or apt, as one might want to put it or it's just the lack of a sense of direction or motivation towards a particular goal. Sometimes it becomes hard to prioritize the different jobs which we would like to undertake at the same time which fills us with a sense of commotion. Or there are times when our person just needs to grow beyond her present state to face a more demanding scenario.(Reference to "person" as "her" is intentional which I'll explain later restricting myself from deviating from the topic right now.)

Above all, the answer that we do need to know is "The Beginning". Yes, it's as simple is that. Perhaps in our urge to complicate things, we forget this simple fact that we ought to start from the beginning!

And were lies this beginning? Well, that'll take some more typing which I'm not willing to do at the moment! Any complains? I guess not. Who wants to read crap anyways? All I wanted to say was "I've just begun my blogging experience. YaY!!"
